Catholic School Tuition Aid
Grant 
Eligibility

Any student in or entering grades K–8 who is a baptized, practicing Catholic and is registered in a Catholic parish in the Diocese of St. Petersburg is eligible. The student must be registered at, or have submitted an enrollment application to, an (inter) parish or Diocesan Catholic Elementary school in the Diocese of St. Petersburg.

Students in grades K-8 may not be a recipient of a Corporate Tax (Step Up For Students) or McKay voucher from the state of Florida. The Catholic School Tuition Aid Grant cannot be combined with these awards.

Parents are required to fill out a FACTS Grant and Aid application for each new school year. All applications must be submitted no later than March, and ALL documents uploaded to FACTS no later than April. An application is considered complete when FACTS Grant and Aid has received the application and all supporting documentation required for evaluation.

Step Up For Students Scholarship
& Family Empowerment Scholarship:

 

Step Up For Students Scholarship: The program provides Tax Credit Scholarships and Family Empowerment Scholarships to students in K-12 who reside in Florida. These scholarships allow the families to choose a private school that may better suit their students individual need or preference. Eligibility guidelines and other information can be found  at www.stepupforstudents.org or call 1-877-7FL-SUFS.

Mary C. Forbes Tuition Grant

Eligibility determined through the foundation from a need-based application process and is only available to affiliated students. For more information please visit their website at www.marycforbesfoundation.com.

McKay Scholarship Program: Florida’s school choice program provides the opportunity for students in grades K-12 with an IEP (Individual Education Plan) the opportunity to attend a participating private school. Application must be made prior to withdrawal from a public school. The amount of the scholarship is based on the student’s IEP. Information can be found at www.floridaschoolchoice.org
