GIS Day - 11/17

The 6th graders have done a tremendous job creating topography maps from their science unit based on various parts of the world.

There was cross curriculum collaboration between Science, Social Studies and Art class.

GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Day 11/17 is the day we remember how "powerful the idea of 'where' truly is." Thanks to this technology, we can capture, display, and analyze location data - all of which our students in 6th grade learned this trimester.
